Saint Gingolph - very good for watersports.

Montreux - for its Chateau, shopping & restaurants.

Château de Chillon - stunning lakeside chateau, frequented by Lord Byron.

There are regular crossings of the lake by paddle steamersand you can choose from multiple routes.

Martigny - there are several internationally-recognized art galleries in this high-altitude town.

Sion - Medieval town with 2 castles/forts

Vignerons and Caveurs - this area is a centre of viticulture and a great place for wine enthusiasts. The Artisans Vignerons Allons (AVO), absed in Ollons, have a big impact here and it is worth paying a visit to meet their charismatic patron. All around Aigle, Ollons & Sion you will find an abundance of family-run vineyards sure to tempt your tastebuds!
